First Visit & Scheduling
Preparing for your First Visit
The consultation appointment will be your first visit to our clinic. This will allow us to understand your condition, as well as your concerns and expectations. We will review the pertinent dental and medical information, complete our assessment, review x-rays, and formulate a treatment plan that corresponds to your unique needs.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
- All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their consultation and treatment.
- Please alert us to any medical condition(s) that may be of concern prior to surgery.
- Please provide a complete list of medications you are presently taking (this includes prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and herbal remedies) prior to or at your consultation appointment.
- If you have dental insurance, please bring the necessary forms and insurance policy details.
- Please bring your BC Care Card to your first visit.
- Please complete the new patient forms prior to your initial visit. This will ensure your consultation appointment goes smoothly and will make the most of your time with Dr. Bikey and his team.
Appointments & Scheduling
In some cases, treatment can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, for various reasons, such as a complicated treatment plan or complex medical history, you may require a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
In cases requiring urgent treatment, we will do our best to see you that day.
Please know we do our best to minimize wait times. However, there are various circumstances due to the complex nature of the treatment Dr. Bikey and his team perform, which may result in delays in your appointment time. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please call us at (250) 900 9232 to schedule an appointment or make changes to an existing appointment.
X-Rays
We require recent x-rays for your appointment with our office. Even if your dentist provides x-rays, in some cases we will obtain additional more advanced x-rays if Dr. Bikey requires further diagnostic information to perform your treatment safely.
